Job Description Crewing Marine Personnel Officer – Athens

I am representing a global leading ship management company seeking a Crewing Marine Personnel Officer to join their Athens office.

This is a full-time, office-based role. Candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the EU, as visa sponsorship is not available. Applicants must live within a commutable distance of the office.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Recruitment on officer and crew inductions. Manage crew rotations and coordinate changes with agents and vessels. Handle employment contracts and joining documentation. Support dry dock, technician needs, special projects, and ship startups. Ensure compliance with flag endorsements, Polar Code, and Madeira tax requirements. Process payroll and review OPEX reports. Review and approve travel and manning agency invoices. Ideal Candidate: Experience in a crewing role within the cruise or yacht industry. Sea-going experience in the cruise or yacht industry. Strong knowledge of STCW documentation.
