Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Pipefitters for projects located in Newport News, VA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $29.50/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:        

Fitting carbon steel CRES and copper nickel pipingInstalling pipe hangers Bending pipe Fit welded sockets Fit brazed joints with and without insert ring Other tasks assigned 

 

Requirements Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the field Able to read and interpret ship piping drawingsExperienced fitting carbon steel CRES and copper nickel pipingAbility to end prep piping by hand and/or with Wach or Portsmouth MachineKnowledge in installing pipe hangersAbility to read a ruler using inches and tenthsAbility to prep and fit-up backing ringsAbility to clean cut/break pipe with a grinderExperience in fabrication of various details and assemblies from drawingAbility to hand prep V bevelsAbility to fit welded socketsAbility to fit brazed joints with/without insert ring Company Details
