**Description** **Tradesmen International** is immediately hiring skilled **Marine Sheet Metal Mechanics** for projects located in and around **Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, WA.** This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate of up to **$32/hour** based on experience & skill level. If you are a Marine Sheet Metal Mechanic and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career! **Job Scope:** + Design, manufacture, install, & repair ventilation, furniture + Work on lightweight bulkheads & doors aboard naval vessels + Assure tank/compartment has updated safe for hot work ticket & requirements of ticket have been met + Ensure ventilation lighting safety equipment + Assure conditions of tank/compartment have not changed since ticket was written + Assure that work authorization form WAF ticket is on the job site and it is for the specific job being completed + Work on forklift, welding, brazing, special electrical/mechanical repairs, etc. + Maintain quality control at all times + Assure safety and cleanliness of work area + Other tasks as assigned **Requirements:** + 3+ Years of Experience + Must be a US Citizen + Must have clean background to gain access to military base. + Must pass 5 panel drug screen. + Must have Maritime OSHA 10 cert. + Basic Knowledge of Habitability, Layout, & Installation + Proper PPE + Ability to work in confined spaces + Ability to lift 50lbs **Company Details** Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
