You will be joining the OneTech entity, a pillar of the company's transformation, and will have the opportunity to participate in the company's various shipping projects. As part of the Marine Structure & Architecture department, you will provide expertise on fleet sizing issues and associated shipping cost estimates. You will work in an environment involving relations with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
ActivitiesSupport projects on fleet size issues and associated shipping cost estimates
Design and implement maritime logistics simulation models for the transport of bulk liquids such as LNG, LPG, NH3, H2, CO2, etc.Analyse simulation data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvementWorking with the various project teams to identify simulation requirements and the integration of simulation results.Actively involved in the development of maritime projects for all branches of TTE: LNG project, CO2 transport, NH3/H2 transport, you will also be asked to :
Provide technical expertise for new terminal developmentProvide expertise for the sizing and costing of a project fleetPrepare ad hoc vessel specificationsMonitor new technologies and solutions likely to improve the safety, efficiency and decarbonization of maritime operationsContribute to TTE's objective of reducing GHG emissions for the Shipping activity Candidate ProfileYou will have at least 5 years' proven professional experience in the maritime industry or in the field of simulation:
Training as a naval architect, senior merchant navy officer or engineer is required.
Previous experience in logistics simulation, preferably in the maritime sector
Knowledge of maritime transport
Proficiency in simulation and analysis software, such as Excel, Arena, Jaamsim
