About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of overseeing complex maritime projects, from directing day-to-day operations to managing financial and administrative aspects. You will be the main point of contact for government project representatives and will lead your team in ensuring top-tier execution on Navy vessel repairs, maintenance, and modernization.

This is a critical role in ensuring the continued excellence and timely delivery of high-profile projects in the maritime industry.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Serve as the main interface for Government project authorities and representatives on technical, administrative, and project-related matters.

Supervise all project operations, ensuring proper planning, execution, and progress monitoring.

Manage financial and administrative aspects of projects to ensure budget and timeline adherence.

Work in a challenging, dynamic environment that includes exposure to outdoor conditions, high altitudes, loud noise, and occasional physical labor such as lifting and crawling.

Occasionally perform activities such as bending, squatting, climbing, and working in confined spaces to support project needs.

Other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of all projects.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of management/supervisory experience in overhaul, repair, alteration, and testing of Navy vessels.

At least 3 years of specialized experience in project planning and management in a shipyard environment.

Demonstrated experience in financial reporting, oral and written communications, and interpersonal relations.

Proven track record of managing multiple projects with varying complexities.

Ability to obtain a Government facility security pass and pass Drug Screening and Work Ability Screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with US Navy ships and knowledge of Navy specifications and requirements.

Proficiency in managing large-scale, high-stakes maritime projects in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $55.00 per hour
