Primary objective of the job:
The Market Acceleration Lead will ensure the effective implementation of channel strategies and execution models in each market, collaborating closely with market teams to enhance commercial productivity, optimize commission structures, and drive revenue-generating initiatives.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Alignment:
Revenue Strategy Development: Collaborate with the Go-to-Market and Channel Strategy Group Director to define and implement strategies aimed at maximizing revenue growth for Mobile and Digicel+ services Execution Assurance: Ensure the effective execution of Digicel’s group strategy in each market, driving alignment with overall business objectives and revenue target Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities for revenue enhancement and inform strategic decision-making
Implementation and Execution:
Performance Optimization: Drive the adoption of a performance-oriented commercial framework in markets, with a strong focus on improving sales effectiveness and channel productivity Execution Compliance: Ensure that all markets adhere to established guidelines and execution models for each channel, driving consistency and effectiveness across operation Execution Plans: Develop and implement actionable execution plans in partnership with market teams to accelerate revenue growth and achieve targets Commission Structure Management: Optimize commission structures to align with revenue goals and incentivize high performance across all market teams
Collaboration and Support:
In-Market Support: Provide on-the-ground support to market teams, ensuring alignment with the overall revenue growth strategy and execution standard Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing and sales, to ensure a cohesive approach to revenue generation
Leadership and Development:
Team Collaboration: Foster a culture of high performance and collaboration within market teams to drive engagement and results Talent Development: Assist in identifying and developing top talent within teams to ensure capability building for sustained revenue growth
Academic Qualifications and Experience Required:
5-8 years of experience in Market Acceleration, Revenue Growth, preferably within telecommunications or related industries Strong experience in traditional distribution channels, with a proven track record of enhancing channel effectiveness and driving revenue growth Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and enhancing commercial productivity across multiple markets Proven ability to implement commercial frameworks and optimize performance metrics to achieve business objectives
Functional Skills:
Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, performance indicators, and identify opportunities for growth Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills to influence cross-functional teams and drive alignment with organizational strategies Excellent communication skills to effectively convey strategies and initiatives to diverse
