**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Mexico City Office in our Rapid Diagnostics Division. Our rapid diagnostics solutions are helping address some of the world’s greatest healthcare challenges.
As Market Access Manager for SOLA/NOLA (South Latin America and North Latin America), you´ll be responsible for creating reimbursement and market access opportunities by promoting Abbott Rapid Diagnostics products with relevant stakeholders, customizing existing Health Economics models and Value Propositions, and working with local data to shape MOH, hospitals, laboratories and payers to include rapid point-of-care testing in guidelines and reimbursement models. This role will support the Market Access strategy definition and development at priority country and regional (North Latin America – NOLA and South Latin America – SOLA) levels embedding the knowledge of the health care system and local trends. This position will report to the LATAM Director of Business Acquisition, Market Access, and Digital solutions with indirect reporting to the General Manager in NOLA.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Identifies national-level drivers & barriers to usage of Abbott Rapid Diagnostics products.
+ Monitor policy developments that impact the reimbursement of Abbott Rapid Diagnostics products
+ Assumes responsibility for building and maintaining relationships with national and regional payers and policy makers to ensure favourable market access conditions for Abbott Rapid Diagnostics products.
+ Collaborates closely with the Global and Regional Market Access teams to create the global value story and value messages in line with product strategy and local market needs in NOLA and SOLA
+ Become the point of contact with regional lead for all NOLA/SOLA Market Access strategic initiatives, projects and activities.
+ Lead development and execution of practical strategies to secure optimal reimbursement (coding/coverage/payment) for Abbott Rapid Diagnostic products.
+ Competitive reimbursement tracking to inform on the impact of competitor reimbursement positions and tactics, which impact access/pricing strategies.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development and communication of economic value messages to support product adoption.
+ Generate local evidence to strengthen value demonstration, aligned with Medical Affairs strategies.
+ Effectively manages 3rd party vendors and consultants involved in developing HTA submissions.
+ Provides guidance for the development and customization of HEOR data, cost effectiveness/budget impact models and the creation of RWE.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a Business or Science related discipline required.
+ Master's degree (MBA/MS) or other post-graduate Degree preferred
+ 10+ years of relevant industry experience in Market Access, pricing/ reimbursement or outcomes research in pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or diagnostics
+ Existing relationships with key reimbursement stakeholders in NOLA/SOLA
+ Highly autonomous with excellent communication skills both written and spoken (English and Spanish)
+ Cross-cultural experience
+ Experience in medical device/diagnostics preferred.
+ Ability to travel 30% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel.

+ Knowledge of market access stakeholders, including payors and policymakers
+ High degree of expertise in the NOLA/SOLA reimbursement and health care systems as well as flexibility in adapting knowledge to other markets and geographies.
