Market Access Strategist (f/m/d) – France & Benelux – Home Office

About the Role: As a Market Access Strategist (f/m/d), you will formulate local strategies for our medical device products in France and BeNeLux. You will be the expert in Coding, Coverage, Reimbursement (CC&R) and Policy. You will work in a cross-functional team to develop clinical and economic evidence to influence reimbursement and value messages for GORE products. You will also closely work with local teams (sales, marketing or Provider Sales Team – PST) to ensure market access strategies are in alignment with local needs.

  

This is a remote position and you can work from your home office in most locations within France.

  

Responsibilities:  Work as part of the cross functional Market Access Team (Product Specialist, Strategic Marketer, Sales Associates, Health Economics, Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, etc.) to ensure successful definition of value propositions on all MPD products for the assigned countries, backed by strong evidence, working to ensure successful market access Build and lead small and agile task forces to develop and align market access strategies, integrating sales, marketing, and PST... functions Complete and maintain all required dossier application work related to reimbursement of MPD products for France and BeNeLux (such as CNEDiMTS, CEESP, CEPS, INAMI dossiers), with the goal of securing maximum and sustainable reimbursement, in collaboration with relevant external partners/consultants Be the definitive expert in all Reimbursement related matter (Coding, Coverage and Reimbursement, Policy, and Economic Value) for the full MPD product portfolio in the assigned EMEA countries for all internal and external stakeholders formulating detailed Health Economic strategies. with the goal of securing maximum sustained reimbursement as determined by relevant public and private payers Work directly with the EMEA Health Economists to define economic value models, including recommending and formulating strategies for economic value analysis as well as the associated evidence definition and collection. Represent economic value arguments on assigned MPD products to Gore customers when requested Participate and represent Gore’s interest in relevant coding, coverage and reimbursement policy discussions with external policy groups (such as SNITEM, beMedTech, etc.) including direct participation in relevant working groups active in the field and industry coalitions as needed Train internal/external stakeholders as appropriate Maintain compliance with training expectations as required for this position Perform additional responsibilities as required within the scope of position

 

 

Required Qualifications: 

PhD or Master degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Epidemiology, Health Economics, Public Health, Health Information Management or a related business 5 -10 years of experience in medical device industry, or in a consultancy, with responsibilities involving successful negotiations with French Authorities on medical devices reimbursement Advanced knowledge of French coding and payment systems for physician and hospital provider services and experience interfacing with medical device policy groups and influencing healthcare institutions, policymakers and payers Advanced knowledge of the French reimbursement landscape for medical devices Demonstrated ability to create and interpret clinical and economic evidence, including methodology and analysis, to support new and commercialized products Demonstrate ability to teamwork Demonstrated ability to develop health economic strategies to capitalize on reimbursement. Proven ability to organize, prioritize and drive the business to success Ability to travel overnight (up to 60%)

 

Desired Qualifications: 

Advanced knowledge of the BeNeLux reimbursement landscape for medical devices
