Job Description Market Access (Value Analytics) – Grad Program (2-year FTC) + Reporting to the Head of Value Analytics + Based in the offices in Maidenhead (3 days a week) with 2 days flexible working. + Highly competitive salary, Bonus and benefits package. Overview: AbbVie is pleased to offer a two-year Post-Graduate Program beginning in July 2025 within AbbVie’s Value and Evidence (V&E) Value Analytics Center (VAC). The VAC at AbbVie is responsible for value quantification, including (but not limited to) health economic modeling and indirect comparisons, driving a central component of value demonstration for our assets. Skilled health economics and outcomes researchers are highly sought after in the pharmaceutical industry as the importance of demonstrating the value of pharmaceutical products is increasingly recognized by payers, and health care providers. However, due to the specialized research needs and challenges unique to the pharmaceutical industry in effectively generating and communicating health economics and outcomes research for these key stakeholders, significant prior industry experience is highly preferred, or required, by employers hiring for these roles. This can put new graduates who are interested in launching a health economics and outcomes career in industry at a significant disadvantage. To help move career interest to career opportunities, AbbVie’s Post-Graduate Program will provide a unique experience for highly motivated individuals who have recently, or will soon, graduate from a master’s or doctoral program to accelerate their career trajectory, developing both technical & strategic application skills that will provide a critical foundation for a successful career in health economics and outcomes research in the pharmaceutical industry. As one of the only programs of its kind in the United States, this program will provide fellows with in-depth, on-the-job training with an industry-leading team and strengthen technical expertise in value analytics through applied practice to address real-world business challenges in the pharmaceutical industry. While the fellowship program will be focused on the VAC, experiential opportunities in other V&E Centers of Expertise and in various therapeutic areas (TAs) within V&E’s HEOR strategy team will be available based on internal needs and candidate interest. This program will provide: + Further training to enhance the candidate’s technical abilities and hands-on experience in applied research skills. + Extensive professional development opportunities to build skills essential for a successful career in the life sciences industry. This includes learning how to: + develop effective and impactful communications for various audiences + collaborate and partner with cross-functional teams + drive evidence-based decision-making + Opportunities to build professional networks and collaborate with AbbVie’s world-class talent in health economics and outcomes research, as well as across our cross-functional teams, including market access, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Strategy, local affiliates, clinical development, medical affairs, and marketing teams. + Opportunities to interact with external stakeholders through conferences and thought leadership activities. + Mentorship from AbbVie leaders to accelerate career growth based on a tailored personal development plan. Qualifications Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience + Recent graduates (no more than 12 months since completion of the graduate program) with a master’s or doctoral degree in health economics & outcomes research, health services research, epidemiology, biostatistics, public health, economics, health policy or related disciplines (incl.
