Market Administrative Assistant
Best Buy
As the Market Administrative Assistant, you’ll primarily provide administrative support to one to two Associate Vice Presidents and also support Marketplace Directors and staff as needed. You’ll handle a high volume of work and must be comfortable with a changing workflow. This role requires excellent independent judgement and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information. In this role, you must have a high level of professionalism, be comfortable regularly interfacing with the senior leadership, have high attention to detail and communicate clearly.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What you’ll doProvide executive administrative support for one to two Associate Vice PresidentsProactively manage leaders’ calendar while balancing the leader's current priorities and anticipates future activities and prioritiesServe as a liaison to the leader and is considered a communication link among the leader, direct reports, peers, business partners and customersPlan and coordinate complex projects, team events and activities (e.g., presentations, meetings, special events) utilizing independent judgementMake domestic travel arrangements
Basic qualifications1 year of administrative support experience1 year of experience with project coordinationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills such as integrity, tact, diplomacy and trustworthinessAbility to handle sensitive and confidential informationProficient user of Microsoft Office Suite
