Job DescriptionITW CCNA is seeking Rising Juniors with graduation dates of December 2026-May of 2027. The ITW Market Analyst Internship will be located at our Glenview, IL facility from mid May until beginning of August 2025. This role will report to the Marketing Innovation Manager.
The Market Analyst Intern will focus on “where” "what” and “how" data is used to drive key strategies, address business questions and enable our business to make data-based decisions that will result in growth, improved market share, and best in class operational performance. The data collected and compiled will be utilized to help identify market trends, our competitive environment, and internal KPI’s.
Learning and Development: Take advantage of the internship to learn about market analysis techniques, data interpretation, and business strategies. Participate in training sessions or workshops to develop skills in market research, data analysis, and marketing strategy.
Primary Responsibilities
Data Collection and Analysis: Gather relevant market data from various sources, including industry reports, online research, and internal sales data. Assist in organizing and analyzing this information to identify key trends, growth opportunities, and potential risks in the construction market.
Market Research Support: Conduct basic market research to understand factors influencing the industry, such as emerging trends, competitive landscape, and shifts in customer needs. This may include gathering information on market size, growth drivers, buying behaviors, and alternative construction methods.
Reporting and Insights: Help translate findings into easy-to-understand reports and presentations that summarize the data, providing insights into market trends, competitive positioning, and key performance indicators (KPIs). These reports will be used to inform strategic decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other team members in marketing, sales, and engineering to understand different aspects of the business. Participate in team meetings to discuss findings and learn how different functions contribute to market analysis and product strategy.
Competitor Analysis: Help gather and organize information on competitors' products, pricing, and market positioning to understand the competitive landscape better. Contribute to creating profiles of key competitors to support strategic planning as needed.

Primary contact for this position will be management, commercial team, human resources, and engineering positions.
