What is the role about?
This position is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to Endress+Hauser sales and service teams regarding the process automation gas measurement portfolio. These responsibilities include providing the highest level of product knowledge, product positioning, and marketing expertise to customers, sales teams, and channel partners to develop and improve competitive advantage and market share.
Which tasks will you perform?
Collaborate with sales and product marketing team as a joint selling team. Create and improve Endress+Hauser competitive advantage and process efficiencies to consistently build profitable revenue growth. Support product marketing team in identifying and analyzing technology trends and/or developments and customer industry needs in the process automation industry, specifically focused on local distribution market/downstream flow metering. Support product marketing team with information on new products, extensions, and customization ideas and carry out local technical implementation. Support of product marketing team in the product launch process to assure the successful introduction of new products into the sales channel. Provide Tier 2 level and post-production technical support inclusive of customer, sales, marketing, and other support needs. Conduct technical training inclusive of customer, sales, and internal Endress+Hauser training needs. Manage the support of product marketing team in the positioning of the broader gas measurement solution inclusive of serial products, systems, and services.What do we expect from you?
You will have (required):
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or other engineering discipline or 10+ years of equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in installation of industrial systems in process automation industries. This is a remote, field position. The ideal candidate may be located anywhere within the United States and will work out of a home office. Basic electronic troubleshooting and use of hand tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, part communicators). Basic knowledge in sensor integration, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming, Distributed Control System (DCS) & Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) programming, networking, database management, Asset Management System (AMS) & Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) integration, and cyber security. Proficient experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, SAP, and Internet applications. Familiar with communication protocols, such as Modbus, HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Ethernet IP, Profinet and Ethernet TCP/IP.What can you expect from us?

The anticipated pay range for this role is $118,100 to $159,400 per year. Exact compensation may vary depending on the education, skills, and experience each candidate brings to the role.
