Position is responsible for supporting third-party independent distributor partner franchisees(IDPs) and company owned or operated territories in their efforts to manage customer relationships, engage in sales activities, grow customer base, identify new selling opportunities in the market and track sales data. In this supportive role, Market Consultants will be responsible for exercising independent discretion to develop sales strategies to build sales, customer base and brand recognition. Market Consultants will spend the majority of their time personally interacting with IDPs and their employees, company sales employees and retailers to complete these tasks. Market Consultants will work with minimal supervision. Market Consultants will review and analyze pertinent sales and marketing data and provide data to IDPs and company sales employees for ways to help improve customer relationships and increase selling opportunities, while enhancing the business partnership with IDPs and fostering career growth with company sales employees.
Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities• Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Oversee general business directions and activities within assigned area; merchandising and execution in partnership with the IDP, Business Unit and Retail sales team for assigned area
• Exercise discretion in carrying out job duties
• Use digital sales tools to support IDPs and company sales employee to grow branded sales and show promotion execution wins and opportunities to continue growth
• Collaborate with Sales Enablement to analyze market and territory opportunities so that IDPs and company owned or operated territories can increase sales and meet customers expectation and standards
• Plan and maintain a schedule of regular key account visits with IDPs and company sales employees to build rapport, grow profitable sales, and frequency of in-store displays and other promotions
• Conduct weekly check points with Market Vice President, including a trip report, review sales data and personal growth objectives
• Partner with IDPs and company sales employees on the effectiveness and frequency of in-store displays and other promotions
• Responsible for providing training and support on IPLAN, check orders for promotions, new items, and chronic void items.
• Responsible for communicating market concerns to the Sales Enablement team
• Responsible for meeting talent in the field and be able to recruit if needed

• Perform all duties which are deemed to be an integral part of the position, including but not limited to defined work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.
Bachelor’s degree (preferably Sales or Business Administration) or equivalent experience.
