YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct in-depth market analysis at the unit/squad level, focusing on top crops and competitive behavior. Assess market trends and sales performance to develop unit- specific strategies. Analyze the unit’s three-year growth plan and provide recommendations. Evaluate farmers’ economic performance per crop, identifying profitability drivers. Identify sales opportunities and develop mitigation plans for potential challenges.
Product Launch & Campaign Support:
Collaborate with internal missions to develop new product launch plans. Support the design of promotions aligned with sales and pricing strategies, ensuring a positive impact on EBIT. Coordinate demo plot plans for new product launches with squads.
Cross-functional Support & Collaboration:
Provide insights and data to multi-area teams, including Pricing, Customer Experience, and Crop Protection Missions. Work closely with Squad 3 (Bajío, Ciénega, Occidente, Tamaulipas) to align strategies. Gather and consolidate market intelligence, including price trends, competitor actions, and market drivers. Deliver periodic updates on crop potential based on grower economics and squad feedback. Support key distributor discussions on campaigns, discounts, and sales opportunities.
Market & Business Insights:
Monitor and communicate market trends, including crop planting areas, competitor actions, and pricing fluctuations. Analyze maize cultivation trends related to climate and water reservoir conditions, collaborating with squads on action plans. Collect squad feedback to refine campaign strategies, discounts, and emergent business plans. Support task forces designed by internal missions (e.g., pest outbreak response, technical information gathering). Contribute to the PTV (Territorial Value Proposition) development for the Noreste and Media Altura regions.
Execution & Event Participation:
Support key events and sales closures for new product positioning. Participate in product launch events as a speaker or content contributor (e.g., profitability messaging for maize, DK Tips on pest management). Assist in the design and execution of Bayer’s Impulso Program (e.g., double-point reward programs, regional implementation plans.
WHO YOU ARE
Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree in Agribusiness or Market Analysis is a plus. At least of 5 years of experience in market analysis, agribusiness, or a related field. English proficiency desired.Experience working with farmers, agricultural products, and market intelligence. Proven track record in data-driven decision-making and strategy development. Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. Ability to translate market insights into actionable business strategies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in data visualization and market analysis tools. Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with multiple teams. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
