Position Overview
The Market Data Manager position will report to the AVP of Business Enablement and is responsible for defining, creating Client Success Criteria Metrics and maintaining Market Opportunity information to support departments across the organization, providing ad-hoc reporting for leadership initiatives, creating market opportunity reporting, and supporting data maintenance initiatives.
The Market Data Manager plays a key role in supporting the Customer Success and Customer Training teams, contributing to the overall enhancement of the customer experience. This individual will be instrumental in optimizing operations, improving processes, and ensuring seamless coordination between teams. By identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement, the Market Data Manager will drive productivity, consistency, and efficiency at scale.
This position requires self-motivation, a strong analytical mindset, and ability to work well with teams and communicate effectively with various levels within the organization - strong communication, teaching, and analytical skills are a must. The applicant must have a solid understanding of sales reporting concepts and technologies, and direct experience with reporting and analytics. This position requires strong problem-solving abilities and experience streamlining process for metric optimizations. This position will support operational and product focused reports and dashboards as well as designing data and analytics solutions that align across leadership’s vision and priorities to drive actionable results.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.
Enhance Customer Success Insights: Assess client success measurement structures, definitions, and processes. Identify inefficiencies in tooling and reporting, then implement improvements. Customer Success Processes: Define data requirements, analyze insights, and streamline onboarding and customer success workflows for efficiency. Develop Success KPIs: Collaborate with Customer Success, Training, and Product teams to define key performance indicators. Streamline Sales-to-Success Handoff: Analyze the transition from sales to onboarding to client success data and create dashboards to track client progress. Account & Buyer Management Information: Generate data on the number of accounts, buyers, and users tracked within each Scorecard products, with a focus on enhancing data accuracy and usability. Total Addressable Market & Penetration Scoreboard: Oversee the iterative development of market opportunity tracking and visualization, integrating pricing strategies, buyer personas, and channel-specific penetration KPIs. Market Opportunity Sourcing & Updates: Lead the identification and ongoing update of market opportunity data, ensuring comprehensive and accurate information across the enterprise. Buyer Map Development: Coordinate the development and maintenance of a buyer map, encompassing total market potential, segmentation, penetration, and contact management. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Product Operations, to define customer market opportunities and manage enterprise-wide data tracking. Contact & Competitor Data Expansion: As part of the role’s evolution, expand data coordination to incorporate comprehensive contact data management and competitor contract data across all organizational functions.
