We’re hiring for a Market developer,Biologicals

As the Market Developer you will be responsible for supporting to the sales teams in the area, you will help synthetize the technical information and turn it into a marketing and commercial program to be presented to the customers.

Your daily mission is to support the Biologicals sales team with commercial and technical advice addressed to customers.

You will help the teams to grow an efficient commercial approach, in demand creation and training at customer and farmer level. You will be accountable for supporting sales in the territory, assist and train the sales teams executing meetings with key accounts, referencing new products and supporting both sell-in and sell-out activities.

Farmers are always striving to find new and better ways to grow crops. With natural products like biologicals, the challenge is finding products that work well and can be easily incorporated into the farmer’s existing agronomic practices. Every farm is a living system. Biological products from Corteva are designed to fit into that system by complementing the evolving farm practices of today and tomorrow. They can be used in organic farming or in conjunction with traditional crop protection products to optimize plant protection and health. Biologicals are natural substances that help enhance plant protection and health, and help plants be more resilient when they are affected by disease or pests.

Your Challenge:

Establish relationship with customers and employees based on the values defined by Corteva. Accomplishing periodic visits to distributors and customers, aiming to understand the needs and offer solutions after analysis and propose solutions aligned with the TSR and Area Manager. Helping on prospecting new customers in the region and make an initial analysis with the support of the TSR and Area Manager to support business strategy. Support the distributor management with the guidance of the TSR / Area Manager. Support the TSR and Area Manager on the execution of the Biologicals Action Plan within the quality standards established by the company. Help to accomplish the sales process: making quick deliveries within the necessary time aiming to increase sales and satisfy customers. Help to ensure the assembling demonstration trials, manage the development, applications, and harvest with excellence, sending the results to the company and customers with support of the departments involved in these processes. Contributing to the flow of information between customers and the company, anticipating problems and actively participating in discussions of alternative solutions with the TSR and Area Manager. Submitting timely reports (activities, visits and flows) and prior weekly schedule of activities to ensure business strategy. Contributing to collaboration with all departments of the company: meet deadlines with quality, share results and good practices, have critical analysis and communication initiative to increase teamwork. Contributing with knowledge dissemination through capacity building actions for the distribution system, end users and influencers in their region of operation, aligned with TSR and Area Manager. Contributing to carry out after sales guaranteeing the efficiency and performance of products in the field to increase sales.

Qualifications

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

BAgric or BTech in Agriculture (Soil Science, Horticulture, Plant Physiology, Agronomy or a combination of these relevant fields) Minimum two years’ experience (field trials management) Knowledge of the methodology for assembling, conducting and harvesting fields trials Knowledge of presentation techniques in a clear and assertive way Approved in BASOS (FERTASA) advantageous Drivers’ license MS Office advanced skills (mainly Power Point and Excel)
