This position will be based in Austin, TX or San Antonio, TX and requires regular travel within your assigned territory. Occasional travel to company sites may be required as needed.

In this role, you will be pivotal in executing our sales and marketing strategies, working closely with distributor personnel to close gaps and deliver outstanding results. Your ability to make strategic decisions, recognize opportunities, and reallocate time effectively will be crucial to growing Gallo brands. You will train and motivate distributor sales representatives and district managers, ensuring they are equipped to meet performance goals and objectives. By analyzing market data and product performance, you will identify opportunities to enhance our competitive edge and share these insights with management.
We are looking for a proactive individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who can adapt to change and think innovatively. Your responsibilities will include engaging accounts and distributor personnel to maximize e-Retail opportunities, supporting digital marketing programs, and leveraging technology to monitor performance and direct actions. As a Gallo Ambassador, you will advocate for our brands, host events, and use social media to promote Gallo sales within the community.

What You Will Need:
+ Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of wine or spirits sales, marketing, restaurant/hospitality, or distributor experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years of wine or spirits sales, marketing, restaurant/hospitality, or distributor experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
+ Candidate is required to have a valid driver’s license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver’s license based on the position’s location within 30 days of hire.
+ Required to obtain liquor license as required by state/locality.
+ Required to travel by air and car in order to execute job functions.
+ Required to see, taste, and smell wine and perform wine tastings as part of job functions.
+ Required to be 21 years of age or older.
+ Required to Travel by air and automobile up to 25% during the course of business.
+ Experience demonstrating strong leadership, selling, time management, and public speaking skills.
+ Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
What Will Set You Apart:
+ Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales experience to include a prior rotation as a Spirits Development Specialist, Spirits Development Specialist Sr, Business Intelligence Analyst Sr, Market Development Manager, Market Development Manager Sr, or Account Manager 1; OR Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of external alcohol sales experience to include on-premise experience.
+ Experience selling or marketing Gallo brands.
Compensation:
+ Hiring salary range posted: $91,500 - $137,300 / year
+ Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
