The Global Market Development Manager will develop and implement marketing campaigns for Medical and Scientific applications, applying a customer-centric, go-to-market approach. As the marketing authority within the Medical & Scientific marketing team, you will be a key player driving the overall growth of the Protein Diagnostics Division (PDX).

You have experience in global product commercialization. You should be able to develop content and marketing initiatives that improve audience engagement. Your goal is to build and maintain a strong demand generation funnel. Success in this role will require navigating a global, matrixed organization to gain alignment and leading projects that involve multiple teams, all within budget and on time.

A day in the life

Build awareness, sales enablement, and demand generation tactics to support new and existing product commercialization including audience segmentation and messaging, product/portfolio positioning, creative concept development, and tactic execution.Collaborate with product management teams and work with cross-functional teams to build coordinated, multi-channel marketing campaigns and programs.Build and curate content vital to generate awareness, demand, and conversion for respective products, tools, and services.Analyze key marketing programs for Return on Investment (R.O.I.) and program optimization, considering equivalent experience.Maintain digital footprint of supported product portfolios through continuous optimization of SEM, SEO, and web content.Develop scientifically compelling sales support tools and training to enable multiple sales channels.Collaborate with regional marketing colleagues to drive implementation of marketing programs within their regions.Work with Events Manager to establish a robust event schedule for varying types of events ranging from small to large proprietary or industry conferences.Regular and ad-hoc oral and written communication of metrics, successes, and failures to improve the overall operating efficiency of the team.Collaborate with varying levels of internal and external audiences, including direct customer communication, key opinion leaders, and management, and vendors/suppliers.

Keys to Success

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related subject area, or equivalent experience in a technical field is helpful.

Experience

5+ years of proven experience pertaining to new product launches, go-to-market plans, marketing campaign planning, and program and tactic development, ideally within the In-Vitro-Diagnostics (IVD) space.Knowledge of the following key proficiencies: 4Ps and marketing mix, marketing communication, communication channels, channels-to-market, segmentation, value proposition, and marketing program development and execution.Strong marketing prowess and proficiency in developing marketing strategy including customer segmentation, positioning, competitive analysis, sales funnels, and staging and pacing of tactical programs.Strong digital marketing understanding in various channels and digital performance metrics.Development and management of metrics dashboards and reports.Validated achievements in driving and implementing various digital marketing strategies, such as lead generation, marketing automation, email campaigns, online advertising, social media, and web development.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Outstanding interpersonal skills.Proficiency developing strong marketing content.Global travel is required, up to 30%, including some evenings and weekends.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $103,100.00–$154,700.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
