Summary
Identifies, depicts, and presents on topics related to the development of the LVHN service areas. Leverages technical skills and experience in the health care industry to find, archive, and transform relevant sources of raw data to analyze and report on market trends, provide insights on characteristics of current and forecasted utilization, and participates in special projects for stakeholders and senior leaders in the network.

Job DutiesDevelops, maintains, organizes, and ensures quality control of data sources, definition reference tables and relational databases shared within and outside of the department. Conducts comprehensive regional market assessments and feasibility studies, either independently or with guidance from supervisor, and delivers results to department leaders and stakeholders. Provides complete analysis of secondary data on regions within or outside of the institution's market area to provide basis for hospital service line and primary care and specialty practice development. Develops and maintains routine reports and summary results tracking network performance and identifying opportunities or concerns in important regions and service lines. Provides analysis of physician practice characteristics (size, needs, patient origin, travel time, etc.) as it relates to identifying practice and physician candidates for network development or optimizing the deployment of current network assets with respect to local need for services. Determines outcomes and return on investment of market development projects or business plans independently and with oversight from supervisor. Presents (live or over web conferencing software) and conducts Q&A on formal findings to stakeholders within the organization as requested. Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed business processes and revises systems and related procedures as needed to account for changes in technology or evolution in the needs for the organization.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, mathematics, economics, business administration, or other related discipline. 3 years of experience in quantitative analysis, market analysis or other related roles. or Combinations of related education, experience, and demonstrated software skills will be considered. Extensive computer skills with substantial experience in relational database systems such as MS Access, Mircosoft SQL Server, My SQL, etc.
Preferred QualificationsMaster’s Degree in computer science, information systems, statistics, mathematics, economics, business administration, or other related discipline. Knowledge and experience automating processes using programming languages such as VB, C++, Python, or R. Ability to visualize and analyze data using platforms like Tableau and ArcMap/ArcPro. Extensive experience with administering contents of relational databases; Microsoft SQL Server preferred.
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 7 lbs., continuous sitting >67%, frequent keyboard use/repetitive motion, frequent fine motor activity/wrist position deviation.
