The Market Quality and Patient Safety Director is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the quality and patient safety initiatives across all the HighPoint Health with Ascension St. Thomas Market. This includes Sumner, Riverview, Trousdale and other hospitals that may be added later to the system. This position ensures the effective tracking, reporting, and improvement of clinical quality metrics, with a strong focus on advancing performance on CMS Star ratings and Leapfrog assessments. The Director will work closely with the Quality directors and physician leaders at each facility to implement evidence-based strategies and best practices aimed at enhancing patient care outcomes, safety, and overall quality performance. They will also coordinate with Ascension St Thomas Quality leadership to share best practices and report outcomes.
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (required).
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field (preferred).

Experience in healthcare quality management and patient safety, with demonstrated expertise in leading quality improvement initiatives in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Experience working with CMS Star ratings, Leapfrog Hospital Safety grades, and other quality performance metrics.
Proven track record of successfully driving quality improvement strategies and achieving measurable improvements in patient care outcomes.
Prior experience in leaderships role with cross-functional team management responsibilities.
