**Responsibilities:**
The Market Exchange Intelligence Analyst reports to the Manager, Business Segment & Performance. The Analyst collects, analyzes, and distributes exchange market competitive intelligence to inform Affordable Care Act (ACA) product design, pricing, market selection, and sales and marketing strategy. Performs in-depth research on target markets, competitors, states, health, and other factors as requested by stakeholders. Competitive intelligence sources may include publicly available datasets (such as exchange public-use files maintained by Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)), competitor product offerings and premiums, state and federal regulatory filings, sales team competitive intelligence and collateral, and other market intelligence tools.;
+ Translating these analyses into executive-ready, actionable market insights, interpretations, and reports to inform growth, strategic planning, and execution for the Exchange segment.
+ Coordinates with internal stakeholders across the exchange segment to understand market needs, support their use of market intelligence data and reports, and maintain appropriate communication channels.
+ Works on topics of highly complex scope, requiring independent judgment and applying an expert level of subject matter expertise with limited oversight.
+ Evaluate multiple competing factors across functional areas that will impact the growth, cost, and customer satisfaction of the Exchange segment.;
**Education & Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree required.;
+ 3 or more years of experience in business analytics, business development, market intelligence, or comparable business experience.
+ Strong quantitative and executive presentation skills.
+ Detail-oriented, ability to work in “gray areas” towards a solution.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
+ Demonstrated ability to learn and apply the learning in a business environment.
+ Ability to communicate business and financial analytics and reports across disciplines and to senior executives.
+ Proven ability to work across organizations and gain/build stakeholder trust.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio.
+ Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of key health plan business functions and capabilities, CMS and state healthcare regulations, and ACA exchange market structure and market trends.
