Job Summary
The Market Insights organization exists to help drive business growth for HP by ensuring that our marketing and business strategy actions are grounded in a best in class understanding of our customers, our markets, and growth opportunities.
The Shopper Insights Manager will be a foundational partner for both the Print and PS marketing, sales and category teams in NA and an enabler of market understanding responsible for converting in-depth shopper and retail environment insights into category, retail, and customer strategies and recommendations. You will ensure that shopper insights are integrated into marketing plans and programs while supporting the cross-categories shopper insights agenda.
Additionally, the role ensures research activities comply with ethical and legal guidelines, contributes to complex projects, and provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level employees.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
Experience in using retailer/customer data, shopper insights, and analytics to inform marketing and retail customer plans.High proficiency in base business tools (Excel/PowerPoint), with expertise in visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or PowerBI).In-depth knowledge in analyzing and creating visualizations of large amounts of data.Experience in presenting to key internal and external stakeholders (retailer teams).Strong knowledge and usage of market segmentation models.Proven track record in persuasively influencing and aligning key customer needs and business stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization.Ability to partner well with sales, marketing, and external agencies.Passion for customers and a natural curiosity about what drives them in their decision-making processEducation & Experience Recommended
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.7+ years of marketing, insights, or research experience.Excellent communication, storytelling, and influencing skills.Experience in communicating and collaborating with business partners.Expert knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics, and tools.In-depth knowledge of research vendor management, agency practices, and procedures.Thorough knowledge of research methodologies/practices.

The base pay range for this role is $110,050 to $166,150 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
