Market Loan Advisor

About the teamAs the Market Loan Advisor, you will be responsible for facilitating the relationship development between designated partner teams and Loan Officers (LOs) to achieve Enhanced Transfer Rate (ETR) targets. You will cultivate and maintain relationships with real estate brokerages, agents, builders, and other stakeholders to serve as the primary connector between Regional Managers and Loan Officers, ensuring cohesive short and long-term collaboration for Zillow Home Loans within a specific region. This role reports to the Regional Manager.

About the roleKey Responsibilities:

Drive and facilitate business opportunities

Build relationships based on trust and communicate ZHL value propositions to partners and agents.

Act as a point of escalation for external partners who have concerns about shared customers.

Build brand loyalty for ZHL by ensuring a consistent mortgage financing experience.

Drive agent adoption of PA Flex Transactions within the assigned book of business or within the market.

Onboarding & training (in-market & virtual)

ZHL onboarding and training for new markets, agents & partner

Nurture & relationship building 

Join partner team meetings to ensure a consistent ZHL presence.

Perform in-market visits to meet partners and agents face-to-face. 

Conduct regular agent calldowns (i.e., closing calls)

Facilitate Premier Agent Strategic Business Reviews (SBRs)

Engagement & Communication 

Participate in bi-weekly 1:1s with Regional Managers and the VP to communicate feedback from partners and agents. 

Participate in monthly 1:1s with Growth Advisors, Growth Advisor Managers and other stakeholders to determine opportunities for enhanced partnerships with agents and partners. 

Provide external partner/agent updates (e.g. market updates, pipeline updates, weekend availability)

Change management & coordination

Drive go-to-market for new products and programs related to ZHL.

Coordinate travel & booking for in-market engagements.

Maintain active licensing, education/training and understanding of changes to regulations.

Requirements:

Minimum 8+ years in a sales role

Must complete the 20-hr SAFE Pre-licensing Education and pass the SAFE Mortgage Loan Originator Test upon hire.

Ability to travel at least 50% of the time

Real estate industry knowledge and dedication to high-quality customer service

Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical, and relationship management skills

Proven track record in handling purchase loans, working with real estate agents, and obtaining required state licensure

Needs to demonstrate a strong understanding of client service and exhibit a passion for helping people

Excellent communication skills, deep mortgage process knowledge, and ability to fund loans successfully

Experience in public speaking and comfort in front of an audience

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $46.80 - $74.80 Hourly. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
