**The opportunity**
The Key Account Planning Analyst will be responsible for developing a consensus API forecast by analyzing marketing trends, historical demand, and customer input through close collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain Teams.
This position will develop a 18-24-month rolling demand plan that drives inventory acquisition and delivers optimal customer service. On a weekly basis, this position reports to Management on 3rd Party business Quarterly sales status versus targets, historical sales trends, and future expectations.
This position will also be providing insights and analysis into current market conditions and trends with regards to the customers, products and competition. The position requires in depth analysis of TAPI's data sources to identify and quantify opportunities to grow the business. The position also provides support to the sales team by supplying relevant customer and market information in a timely and accurate manner, sales analysis, marketing support through presentations, and maintaining and updating TAPI databases
This position reports to the Sales organization.
**How you’ll spend your day**
Main Accountabilities:
• Develop monthly materials forecasts at the item level using historical data, customer input, statistical forecasting models, and market trends for assigned customers and events.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop the monthly consensus forecasts.
• In collaboration with Account Managers, develop an AOP (Annual Operating Plan) and LRP (Long Range Plan - 5 year) based on historical sales data, customer input, and market trends.
• Review and assist with global product allocation on supply constraint products.
• Maintain integrity of forecasting system databases used to drive base forecast.
• Coordinate implementation of forecasting and inventory planning activities for customer special projects and new business.
• Communicate trends and forecasts to internal partners to ensure continued sales growth and to identify risk.
• Collaborate directly with Sales and Marketing Team to identify opportunities to increase sales through trend analysis and observations.
• Maintain constant watch of market events that may evolve into TAPI opportunity, ie: government regulation, competitor quality issues and regulatory warning letters.
• Work directly with Supply Chain to ensure adequate inventory in support of customer forecasts.
• Organize effective monthly forecast review meetings (brainstorming meetings) with Account Managers and other internal partners.
• Review customer orders as required to ensure optimal service levels and achieve improved forecast accuracy.
• Communicate to management any potential issues and challenges impacting service to the customer or inventory.
• Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
• Maintain data in CRM by using dashboards and working with the key account managers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Extract and analyze data from various internal systems, ie: CRM, pricing, sales, ordering, forecasting, etc.
• Prepare presentations as required by account managers, and TAPI management

**Your experience and qualifications**
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in BA / Marketing / Economics / Industrial engineering and management / Supply Chain / Logistics, or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in forecasting, demand management, planning, scheduling, or other supply chain focus is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in analytics
• Demonstrated knowledge in demand forecasting with an understanding of their operational impacts on the supply chain.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Comfortable working with databases and other systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of the Demand Forecasting processes.
• Knowledge of S&OP processes
• Demonstrated knowledge of forecasting technology or ERP systems
