Mount Carmel St. Ann's is a 322 beds full-service inpatient hospital in northeast central Ohio. Following a recent expansion, it's transformed into a regional medical center with a long list of patient-centered facilities and services.
St. Ann's is home to a high-performing cardiovascular center, including cardiac catheterization, STEMI care and electrophysiology services, a Primary Stroke Center, a dedicated Womens Health Center, a Maternity Pavilion that welcomes more than 4,500 new babies every year, an award-winning Network Cancer Program, the first Cyberknife robotic radiosurgery center in central Ohio and a dedicated orthopedics and spine unit.
MOUNT CARMEL NEW ALBANY HOSPITAL
Mount Carmel New Albany is a specialty hospital focused on inpatient and outpatient orthopedic, neurologic and musculoskeletal care. The hospital features technologically advanced treatments combined with a unique caring and service philosophy tailored for each patient.
The two-story facility includes 60 patient rooms and ten operating rooms and a full-service and 24-hour Emergency Room. The Mount Carmel New Albany Emergency room features 8 emergency room beds, and 24/7 lab and radiology services.

POSITION PURPOSE
Based in Westerville, Ohio, the Market President is responsible and accountable for executive leadership and operational direction to a Mount Carmel St. Ann's and New Albany Hospitals. As a member of the regional executive team, this leader actively engages in the creation and execution of strategies that enhance Trinity Health’s impact with the market area. As the accountable executive for the two hospitals, the Market President is responsible for the development and implementation of strategic and operating plans that align with regional objectives, reflect community needs, achieve organizational goals, and advance the philosophy, mission, and vision of Trinity Health. This leader fosters an environment that promotes and ensures excellence in the care experience and operational efficiencies within a variety of delivery settings. As a Regional Health Ministry (RHM) executive leader, provides leadership and guidance to the RHM senior leadership team, enabling collaborative planning, innovation, and decision-making.
Creates an organizational culture that celebrates diversity and a community of committed persons serving the healing ministry with focus on competencies that support values of respect, social justice, care of the poor and underserved, compassion and excellence. Ensures effective governance and establishes a participative management and engaged organizational climate that develops and maintains talent and inclusiveness within the RHM and throughout the region.
The executive will be responsible for the development of and oversight of all operations of the Physician Network Organization for the region. Lead the development and implementation of business operational strategies, goals, and targets that align with the organization’s mission, vision, and core values. This position will be a member of the regional executive team and work collaboratively with Mount Carmel Health System executive leaders to support high quality, cost-effective and integrated clinical programs. Work will be done to streamline processes across the organization to accomplish the necessary efficiencies to manage the regional physician network organization. Align the strategic goals with the overall vision for Trinity Health and will lead the regionalization strategically, operationally, and legally to create one Physician Network Organization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Cultural Alignment: Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health mission, vision, and values in leadership behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Regional Executive Leadership: Serves as a member of the MCHS regional executive leadership team charged with the creation of regional structures to support RHM and PNO operational effectiveness and efficiencies reflective of the Trinity Health Priorities. Collaborates with regional executives, system office colleagues and other RHM Presidents to achieve RHM and PNO, regional and system objectives. Seeks out, embraces, and capitalizes on the advantages of regional and system resources, diversity, scale, replication opportunities, people, and intellectual capital. Shares accountability for the achievement of regional performance metrics, including regional development.
Regional Health Ministry (RHM) Direction: Responsible and accountable for executive leadership and directly supervises RHM and PNO senior management team ensuring the achievement of financial, operational, and strategic plans with a focus on excellence in personalized care in a variety of delivery settings. Champion’s change, operational improvement, and growth initiatives - seeks out and employs effective change management and performance improvement techniques and tools.
Regional Health Ministry (RHM) Accountability and Responsibility: The PNO and RHM Presidents report to and are accountable to the Regional President and CEO. The PNO and RHM Presidents are accountable for the selection, evaluation, and overall success of the senior leadership team within assigned PNO and RHM.
Operational Excellence: Leads the formation of the RHM and MCHS' PNO structure to achieve strategic goals and financial targets for the region. The operational plan will align with the Trinity Health’s goals as well as operational structure.
Strategic Thinking: Leads the formation of the RHM and PNO vision and strategic plan and the development and achievement of its goals and objectives. Ensures PNO and RHM vision and operational plan are aligned with Regional and system strategies and objectives. Oversees the analysis of community needs and the development of supportive programs and services, especially for the poor, populations at risk and the underserved.
Clinical Delivery: Facilitates the development and implementation of operations as it relates to the integrated clinical service delivery platforms within the assigned RHM and PNO of MCHS and ensures integration and alignment within the region. Champion’s physician alignment strategies that lead to growth within MCHS and regional affiliations. Ensures the coordination of actions and realization of service efficiencies that drive increased quality and responsiveness to marketplace needs.

Regulatory and Compliance: Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health's Organizational Integrity Program, standards of conduct, ethics, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

Must possess a thorough knowledge of healthcare management principles and techniques as normally obtained through a Master's Degree in Health Administration or a related field and a minimum of ten (10) years of management experience, to include but not limited to experience as the Chief Operating Officer and/or President/Chief Executive Officer of an integrated health care entity. Advanced business and executive leadership skills to develop new or enhance existing clinical and operational strategies, business plans, policies, and programs.Extensive knowledge and understanding of current health care trends and practices.Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and business acumen.Must be able to operate effectively in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.Ability to identify, create and foster an organizational culture that is supportive of and builds upon the Trinity Health faith-based traditions and vision for a healing ministry.Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
