Support Market Regulations Manager in building up strategies to allow natural ingredients unit's products to be compliant with relevant cosmetics active ingredients regulations. The position holder must have knowhow on most important countries' cosmetic regulation and claims regulation. The position holder will also provide direct support for the sales force and customers in topics relative to active ingredients sales (e.g. questionnaires, formulations related restrictions and claims). The position holder should be based in Toulouse close to the NI R&D group but will collaborate closely with Corporate Product Stewardship.

 

Responsibilities:

Support the sales force and customers with regulatory information.         Work with partners to guarantee compliance of existing portfolio and facilitates the products commercialization. Support with regulatory guidance the development phase of new active ingredients.                                          Create and maintain updated regulatory documentation.             Follow specific trends to facilitate approval of our ingredients in this market (naturality Cosmos / ISO 16128, Vegan, Halal etc.).                 Support the PAR / MOC process (integration of portfolio into EHS and maintaining data integrity).                     Make sure the new and existing cosmetic active ingredient is compliant with worldwide cosmetic regulations (including the Chinese regulation).     Support collection and maintenance of supplier and raw material data.     Work with marketing team to validate claims for new active ingredients.    

 

Requirements:

Scientific background in Chemistry or Biology, with focus on regulatory affairs. 2+ years of experience in cosmetic regulations and claims. Expert knowledge of global cosmetic active ingredients regulations as well as cosmetic claim regulations. Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders across cultures. Natural problem-solver with analytical mindset. Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficiency in English.
