Market Research Analyst - Communications Operations

Onsite| Monday-Friday| 8:00 AM - 4:30PM

Job Purpose or Objective(s): As the Market Research Analyst, you will interpret data, formulating reports, and making recommendations based on the research findings to identify changes and forecast trends in the field of marketing and communications. You will report to the Market Research Manager.

Primary Tasks:

1.   You will evaluate methods for collecting data, and implement research methods, such as surveys, questionnaires, interviews, focus groups, and opinion polls.

2.  Gather data on market conditions, collaborate with teams inside and outside the organization to gather relevant qualitative and quantitative data.

3.  Collect and convert complex data and findings into understandable and applicable items, reports, and presentations.

4.  Determine the most effective market research methods to track target audience demographic trends and market demands.

5.  Conduct market research using traditional and modern statistical techniques and software.

6.  Understand departmental goals and design surveys to discover prospective consumer preferences.

7.  Evaluate program methodology, important data, and define research goals.

8.  Analyze autonomously qualitative and quantitative data, trends, and strategies, especially marketing and communications industry trends.

9.  Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:

·            Bachelor's Degree in business, economics, statistics, math, market research, related field, or four (4) years of relevant experience.

·            Ability to understand large amounts of information including research data analysis and statistics

·            Ability to collaborate well with teams               

·            Experience with computers including higher level functions of Microsoft Excel, such as Pivot Tables, and statistical software platforms

·            Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and make recommendations based on statistical reports

·            Knowledge of human subject research and ethical research practices

·            Two years’ experience in similar role
