Job Description

The Role:

This role is critical to CCA to help us interface with a Media Agency, analytics teams and internal brand teams to develop and execute our service and parts media strategy yearly - who to target and how to reach them through Media!
 

As an Assistant Media Manager for Certified Service, Parts Brand, Parts eCommerce, Chevrolet Performance, and Technician Recruitment you will have the opportunity to support several different areas across the Customer Care & Aftersales (CCA).  You will be charged with driving innovation and pushing boundaries of emerging media to engage with new and returning customers across the national tier.  You will be asked to bring new ideas and strategies that will elevate the brand presence and positively influence our relationship to deliver on key media and brand KPIs.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):

Form the strategic vision and media planning process for Tier 1/National Certified Service (across all GM divisions), Parts Brand (GM Genuine and ACDelco), Parts eCommerce, Chevrolet Performance, and Technician RecruitmentManage our Tier 1 Media AOR and media operations processDevelop fresh insights to drive innovation and keep up with current/future trends in media while enabling a smarter and more effective media strategy and buying decisionsWork effectively with the Brand teams to understand brand initiatives, objectives, and goals to drive the most effective media plansOwn and manage the allotted budget and drive appropriate investments and mixLiaison with Testing and Analytics teams at GM (including but not limited to Marketing Strategy & Intelligence (MSI), Marketing Applied Sciences (MAS), and Performance Marketing) in the development of reports, mix models, identify and drive media key performance indicators and high value behaviors across all channels and optimization plansDevelop and foster a relationship with MediaOne including Audience, Ad Tech, and channel leadsCreate and oversee Test & Learn media initiatives and audience strategyPresent and inform leadership across retail, sales and marketing and adjacency areas of the business of CCA’s media plans, new opportunities, etc.Monitor and analyze key performance metrics; optimize campaign activities on a weekly basis alongside analytic teamsHelp guide and provide recommendations of how to optimize national account co-branded campaigns

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):

Minimum of 5 years of marketing with a preference for media experience and managing one-to-one targeted campaignsExperience working within the digital space (paid search, social, display, online video, audio, connected TV, digital out-of-home, etc.), Amazon platforms, and espouse to traditional media (TV, magazines, etc.)Experience working with or for media agenciesSuccessfully manage multiple projects and deadlinesDemonstrated ability to present including development of a PowerPoint presentation, oral presentation skills and ability to tell a story resulting in decision makingOutstanding oral and written communication

Bachelor’s degree required in marketing, business or other related fields preferredKnowledge of GM structures and processesAutomotive experience with a view of the field as well as dealership and parts ecosystemsUnderstanding of people-based planning and 1:1 targeting
