Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans and strategies, including relationship marketing, promotions, entertainment, and events, alongside the development of support materials and in-house creative initiatives from concept to fulfillment, such as collateral and signage. Assists in the set-up, execution and breakdown of all on-site and off-site promotions, entertainment and special events: to include but not limited to, tournaments, promotions, VIP parties, and festivals.Works within a team to ensure that all items needed to carry out all marketing programming are in the appropriate place in a timely manner.Maintains a detailed knowledge of all marketing programming to effectively explain policies and procedures to customers.Presents/Speaks on stage if necessary, using a microphone for announcements for drawings and/or events.Responsible for educating patrons on the value of the loyalty program; assists patrons with questions as they relate to the property and loyalty program.Assists and supports the Marketing Department with generating App activations for PENN Play, ESPN BET™, casino promotions and events on select shifts by performing various duties to support customers’ visits and/or events.Supports operational goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives. Supports the efforts and projects of the VP of Marketing, Marketing Manager, Assistant Marketing Manager and/or Assistant Promotions & Events Manager as requested.Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior internal and external customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within the area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to management. Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university in marketing, communications, business, or related field; internships or certifications in marketing or operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
