Job Description:

Business Title: Marketing Analyst/ Lead Analyst / Market Insight Researcher

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

Responsible for developing and managing customer research projects to generate customer insights for multiple channels and business units

 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Articulate research questions and recommend relevant data collection methods collaborating with internal teamsProgram online survey, test it rigorously and manage fielding to ensure data integrity using online survey platforms and external panelsCleanse and manage project data files to allow historical tracking and cross-BU comparisonDevelop insightful and high-quality reports to communicate actionable research findings to internal clientsManage data quality of various research projects and build/manage multiple in-house database to compile past and current research dataAssist new product development research projects including questionnaire development, conjoint study programming and report creationConduct diverse data related tasks such as data acquisition, preparation, synthesis and analysis using both primary and secondary dataProvide support at various steps of large scale team projects including quality assurance of survey programming, data collection, comment coding and report productionGet involved in other research efforts by providing qualitative research summaries from customer interviews and observational studiesContribute to establishing Market Intelligence and Analytics team’s best-practices and standard work May be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB CRITERIA:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum 7+ years of marketing research project development, survey programming, data quality management and reporting (required)Minimum 7+ years in global marketing research agencies (preferred)Experiences in designing and execution of primary research projects including questionnaire writing, online survey programming using tools such as Qualtrics and QuestionPro, data analysis (required)Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for visualization (required)Experiences in synthesizing data into actionable information and related implications (preferred)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Knowledge of scoping, designing and execution of primary research projectsProficiency in various primary research tools including online survey program (e.g. Qualtrics, QuestionPro, etc.)Knowledge of collection and analysis of complex data setsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointKnowledge in synthesizing data into actionable information and related implications Knowledge of online data collection/ desktop researchExperiences in customer satisfaction research is a plusDemonstrated Project Management skills to:Develop realistic plans, action steps, and timetables for projects and assignmentsCoordinate work with other groups (other depts. and agencies/contractors, peers)Handle multiple projects and competing prioritiesTrack and prioritize projects, documenting projects via an established traffic reportKeep others up to date with informationSkilled at effective communications at both technical and leadership levels. Skills must include good interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills, and ability to understand information and ideas as presented.Skill in developing and delivering effective presentationsSkill in conflict resolution including the ability to address difference of opinions or facts and use the most appropriate method to reach an effective solutionAbility to build and maintain effective work relationships, both internal and external, and establish credibility with business partnersAbility to adapt to rapidly changing business circumstances; must be able to thrive in a constantly changing business environment
