Pizza Hut Canada is seeking a talented Marketing Analyst to join our dynamic team. Are you a curious, analytical thinker with a passion for brand building? Reporting directly to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will collaborate across various functions to devise and execute strategies that drive growth and innovation. It is ideal for candidates looking to develop a deeper understanding of business and transition from a purely analytical role to a more business-focused position. Experience in QSR, the restaurant industry, or in franchise-facing businesses will be considered an asset.

 

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Market Research:

Lead strategic analytics initiatives, delivering key insights to the Marketing leadership team to uncover new growth opportunities. Continuously monitor market trends, customer behaviour, and competitor activity using key data sources, including but not limited to NPD Crest, YouGov, internal POS data, and Loyalty/CRM data, to inform strategic decisions. Support the Senior Marketing Manager in developing and implementing data-driven business strategies that align with our growth objectives. Analyze digital merchandising for the website and app, recommending enhancements to improve guest experience and boost revenue. Provide ad-hoc analytical support for special projects and new initiatives as needed.

Execution of Key Growth Initiatives:

Manage and track the progress of key growth initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. Regularly update project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to keep stakeholders informed and aligned. In partnership with the Senior Marketing Manager, lead weekly project meetings with the cross functional team to review progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment. Monitor project performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust project plans as necessary to achieve goals.

CRM and Loyalty:

Coordinate with the CRM agency to develop and maintain customer segmentation models to enhance targeting and personalization strategies. Analyze customer data to optimize CRM strategies, improve retention, and boost loyalty program efficiency. Analyze the effectiveness of ad-hoc/automated CRM campaigns and suggest improvements to refine marketing tactics and strategies on a continuous basis. 

Key Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field. Experience: 2-4 years of experience in marketing analytics, strategy or a related role. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights. Experience with visualisation tool will be a plus.  Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically. Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and contribute positively to team culture.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with first-party customer data or loyalty analytics. QSR, restaurant industry, consulting or franchise-facing business experience. Familiarity with project management tools. Familiarity with tools and platforms commonly used in data analytics and visualisation (Excel, Tableau, other visualization softwares).
