Marketing Analyst (m/f/x)

For our fast-growing new food venture Factor Europe  (Factor is a service that delivers nutritious, delicious, freshly prepared ready-to-heat meals to your door) we are looking for a Growth Marketing Analyst to support our ambitious growth plans

Based in the Factor Europe Headquarters at Amsterdam, you will work closely with the Factor Marketing team in Amsterdam, local Marketing teams in Denmark and Germany as well as the Global Marketing teams located in Berlin.

The role

As the sole Analyst in the Marketing & Growth team, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our Marketing performance. You’ll advise the team with key insights through data analysis, focusing on key areas for the company (Growth, Paid Media, Referrals, Reactivation, Incrementality, Discounts, Conversion Rate, Retention) and on multiple levels (customers, cohorts, campaigns, channels). You will be in charge of data collection, treatment, analysis, presenting data and turning them into actionable recommendations to a large variety of teams and stakeholders within the company.

What you’ll do Provide cracking insights into customer acquisition and retention, looking for improvement opportunities to optimize marketing mix, campaigns, channel targeting, efficiency, etc. Work closely with stakeholders from our Growth channels and other (Marketing) teams, and translate their business questions into structured and meaningful analytics - combining business and technical understanding Run in-depth analyses, create dashboards and reports, organize and evaluate AB tests, provide ad-hoc insights, etc.  Carry out complex in-depth analyses to understand the impact of (e.g.) our price & discount set-up on customer dynamics and economics (conversion, retention, profit contribution, …) and identify and validate opportunities to improve  Conduct comprehensive analyses of our referral journey and metrics, testing variations, discount structures and customer segmentation, liaising with the Global Referral teams to design the next versions of our virality program Play a key role in marketing budgeting by determining the optimal channel mix based on seasonality patterns and marketing attribution models, ensuring  we consistently achieve our scaling and efficiency goals Access and process data from diverse sources such as data warehouses, S3 buckets, and GA using SQL, Python, App Script and/or Google Sheets within a robust data environment Discuss the results of your work with stakeholders of various seniority, including functional teams in the Global headquarter and local top management Take responsibility of own projects, but also collaborate and share knowledge with other analysts, contributing to the broader HelloFresh Analytics capabilities through knowledge sharing and training What you’ll bring Bachelor or ​​Masters Program in a Top Business/Engineering School/University, with a strong focus on data-drivenness At least 3+ years experience in a similar role, driving business impact based on Data and Analytics. Experience with marketing metrics and/or in a consumer-facing business is a must. E.g. in a fast-growing start-up / scale-up, consulting company or a data-driven corporate, ideally in the Spanish market A quantitative and analytical mindset and skillset. More specifically, you have strong SQL skills, experience with statistical analyses (e.g. AB testing, regression modeling). You also have experience in visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) Experience with other programming languages such as Python is a plus. You will not need it extensively, but given our lean team size it will be helpful for you to be autonomous on a number of technical tasks to unlock your analytical projects Strong business sense: outstanding ability to build a “bridge” between business needs and your analysis (problem & analysis structuring), and between your analysis result and business implications (recommendation definition, data visualization, storylining) Top notch ways of working: you set the bar really high in terms of collaboration and what good looks like Proactive, ambitious, and assertive: you take ownership of your work and think beyond the scope of a given assignment You are capable of both thinking strategically about challenges and rolling up your sleeves to get things done, with an eye for detail At ease in a fast-paced and demanding environment and experience managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously A growth mindset and a “learning never stops” attitude What we offer 20% discount on Factor, Hellofresh or Greenchef.
