JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is responsible for supporting department initiatives which further the St. Croix Hospice mission of delivering the highest quality hospice care to patients, families and caregivers. This position will focus on overall department and special project support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Coordinate and manage special projects and events
+ Develop understanding and uphold St. Croix Hospice mission and brand
+ Manage department invoices, billing, reporting and scheduling
+ Evaluate and respond to internal/external requests for information as needed in a timely manner
+ Assist in the management of department tactics, timelines and budgets
+ Create and execute all projects with respect for patient and employee privacy and adherence to all applicable laws and regulations
+ Support other staff as needed to ensure no gaps in service to internal customers
+ Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matter expeditiously, proactively and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
+ Associate degree or 1-3 years’ relevant experience in marketing, public relations, communications, special events
+ Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
+ Excellent written, verbal and computer skills, including Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and Excel
+ Knowledge of operation of standard office equipment, clerical and administrative procedures, and systems such as filing and record keeping
+ Experience with principles and practices of basic office management
+ Ability to maintain effective relationships with coworkers, partners and vendors
+ Event management experience a plus
The hourly base range for this role is $23.00-$26.00. This range is a good faith estimate; we may pay more or less than the posted range, and this range may be modified in the future. Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include the opportunity to participate in employee benefits including our medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) retirement plans, subject to applicable plan terms, and/or eligibility for other compensation.
