Credence has an immediate need for a Marketing and Communications Specialist with 1-7 years of related marketing and communications work. This position would reside within a larger Business Development, Capture, Proposal team in our corporate office. This position would currently be the only full-time person dedicated to marketing and communications, working closely with our graphics designer, and directed by company leadership. An ideal candidate is a strong writer, self-motivated, and excited to translate our company culture and vision into an effective marketing strategy as we continue to grow.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below Must have demonstratable skills and experience managing and executing Credence’s online presence: contribute to strategy discussions, keep a social media calendar for website and LinkedIn posts, draft and edit all posts, work with Credence’s graphic designer on images and graphics, and monitor and track performance. Write press releases, case studies, and company announcements in coordination with program managers and leadership.Support internal communications, including drafting the monthly employee newsletter, keeping the company Intranet current, drafting messages from leadership, and supporting the contracts and finance team with project start-up communications. Monitor relevant Industry awards programs and their deadlines and draft and submit entries; manage event attendance. Help program and division leads draft and produce marketing materials for meetings, conference, and events, working closely with our graphic designer. Facilitate Credence’s corporate social responsibility program, track donations and organizations supported for promotional needs and process company matching contributions.Participate in various departmental meetings to identify new marketing and communication ideas.Support ad hoc proposal, presentation, capture, office, event, or project-related writing, marketing, or communications needs. Education, Requirements and Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, marketing, communications, or related field (or equivalent experience) plus 1-7 years of experience implementing marketing and communication strategies, ideally for a Government Contracting company.Highly organized, able to work independently with little oversight, and able to synthesize information from various groups to identify marketing opportunities.Strong writer and editor with strong attention to detailExperience strategizing and/or executing marketing efforts for company websites.Preferred familiarity with internal communications best practices and government contracting.US Citizenship required with the possibility of obtaining a Federal Security Clearance or Active Clearance.
