Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to provide financial expertise to the organization. Each day, you will compile and analyze metrics, identify trends and problems, and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific Marketing, Sales, or Service organization, as applicable.General ResponsibilitiesSupport local division controller and play as team leader on division’s daily marketing and sales controlling tasks incl. Reporting, Sales costs excellence, controlling support to sales managers & marketing managers, training and implement policy & guidelines from Global and local division.Main Accountabilities•\tAnalyses the actual performance vs. annual performance plan (APP) and/or rolling forecast and proposes improvement actions•\tPerforms benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar sites within ABB•\tPrepares financial modelling for various hypotheses and assesses impact to demand orders volume & profitability, also the costs analysis and align with local division controller•\tSupports the preparation of the relevant organization financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.•\tValidates accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliations and review of exceptions.•\tProvides information to the management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations.•\tOptimizes their performance and productivity by developing automated solutions, eliminating duplications, and coordinating information requirements.•\tEnsures processes and controls within their area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with the group and unit requirements.•\tMaintains proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/internal/external audits and reviews.•\tWork together with other local division controlling teams as one team•\tSupport sales/marketing managers or local division controller on M&S related financial analysis and simulation in ad-hoc tasks
Qualifications for the role\tBachelor’s or master’s degree with financial related major.\tSolid knowledge and experience on finance process management and internal control.\tStrong knowledge and experience on finance accounting, financial analysis and budgeting/planning\tHighly adaptable capability and the excellent communication skills especially the ability to interact effectively with senior management\tExcellent on both oral and written English \tGood in communication with stakeholders
