Marketing Assistant
Description We are seeking a passionate, highly-motivated individual to fill the role of an Event and Marketing Coordinator in for a well-established company in North Charleston, SC. This position offers the opportunity for a results-driven professional to manage event planning and marketing needs. This is a fully on-site contract-to-hire opportunity. You must be able to commit to working 10:30am-7pm Tuesday-Saturday. Key Responsibilities: + Arranging and managing events effectively + Building relationships with local sponsors + Effective management and daily updating of social media content and online calendars + Conducting live online broadcasts of specific events on social platforms + Formulating and operating within pre-approved financial plans and objectives + Growing and maintaining an engaging customer base for events + Overseeing sales, planning, marketing, and various admin tasks Essential Skills: + Strong customer service and professional presentation skills + Entrepreneurial mindset and high energy + Leadership and motivation skills + Effective verbal and written communication + Excellent organization, interpersonal skills, and administration abilities + Competency in using social media tools, content creation, and Microsoft Office Suite The Role: The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the leadership team, including the General Manager and Marketing Director, to devise and execute strategic marketing plans enhancing the organization's brand image.
