Marketing Assistant & Account Coordinator

Job Summary

This position functions to provide optimum support to the Chief Marketing Officer and/or assigned Department Manager, through the performance of responsible and detailed secretarial, clerical duties and account support duties. In addition, this position includes account coordination as assigned in support of client and service line needs.

 

Responsibilities

•Maintain invoice and job ticket data bases.
•Maintain an accurate filing system for the department.
•Order and maintain adequate level of office supplies.
•Conduct and/or secure competitive bids from appropriate resources/vendors for various projects.
•Effectively work with project contacts and other team members to accomplish established goals within committed time frames and budget.
•Support account management staff with client request and jobs as assigned.
•Demonstrate commitment to quality and accuracy of all work produced, both personal and contracted, with strict attention to CAMC's graphic standards.
•Make travel arrangements for Marketing and Public Affairs staff, as needed.
•Relieve the Department Manager, Assistant Department Manager, and/or Supervisors of administrative detail when requested.
•Provide optimum support to the Chief Marketing Officer through the performance of responsible and detailed secretarial and clerical duties.
•Support Marketing & Public Affairs department members with secretarial and clerical duties as needed.
•Perform payroll edits for staff as needed.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Patient Group Knowledge (Only applies to positions with direct patient contact)

The employee must possess/obtain (by the end of the orientation period) and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment or care as defined by the department’s identified patient ages. Specifically the employee must be able to demonstrate competency in: 1) ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of patient needs; 2) knowledge of growth and development; and 3) understanding of the range of treatment needed by the patients.

Competency Statement

Must demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing competency validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties as specified in the job description and the unit/department specific competency checklist.

8. Follow organizational and departmental policies and procedures, as applicable.
9. Perform related duties as assigned.

 

Education 

• High School Diploma or GED (Required) Education: High School Diploma or GED. Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field preferred. Experience: 4 years related field
