Marketing Assistant/Coordinator II
Interview process: 2-3 interviews Capacity: Hybrid – 3 days in office two day WFH, flexible, in office for important meetings and/or events Duration: 6 months with an option to extend Day in the life: • Team of 2 – HM and VP – the brand is entrepreneurial, looking for someone to be excited about and build the brand • OPS and DMI Marketing – full funnel brand creation and GTM strategy • Looking for someone to support HM with some of the hands-on keyboard parts of the business – tracking media assets, sending assets to agencies, starting briefs, shipping products, finding influencers, etc • Very willing to teach and train the right person, the soft skills are most important • Has a grasp on numbers – baseline Excel and analytical skills • Pull reporting Soft Skills: • Excited to work for Loreal • Creative and strategic – creative POV example: can they give feedback on a creative asset on how to make it look better? Experience: • Fresh from college could be a fit – for example, an intern whose college experience is relatable to the role/industry • Or someone who has 1+ years of working experience in the beauty industry or industry adjacent (a media agency, worked for a competitor, or a publication, or PR) • Very open to letting this person grow within the role and expand out – i.e. the JD lists 3 month expectations and 6-month growth/stretch opportunities • Someone interested in learning and growing in digital could work as well This position will support our marketing team in inspiring and motivating new potential customers to purchase with the brand to drive sustainable and efficient growth for in the US. To be successful in this role, you will need to balance art and science, the creative with the analytical, and have a love of creative problem solving and bias for action. IN 3 MONTHS - Assist with the day-to-day execution and measurement of go-to market activation, paid media initiatives, and content strategy - Assist in deploying successful & efficient digital marketing campaigns across all channels including but not limited to paid search, paid social, influencer, programmatic, & CRM/email - Support in the creation of management business updates, agency briefs, campaign calendars/roadmaps, related strategy documents. - Assist with the development of internal and external presentations - Assist with Product Comp requests and send-outs IN 6 MONTHS - Present clear and concise recaps based on performance and benchmarks to stakeholders and leadership - Collaborate amongst interdepartmental teams ensuring US storytelling is cohesive from a 360 perspective - Contribute to the development of US objectives/strategies/market share goals to drive brand growth - Partner with PR and Social to create support plans for key US moments - Identify opportunities to simplify and improve existing processes and procedures INTERPERSONAL SKILLS - Genuine interest in creative problem solving and unique storytelling - Possess enthusiasm, creativity, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a growth-mindset - A team player who can work both independently and collaboratively - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to speak with all levels within the business. - Self- starter, ability to lead and manage projects independently. - Strong organizational skills - Comfort with working in a fast-paced environment.
