About the Role:
\nThe Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company’s growth by utilizing a variety of strategies to support our Sales and Customer Success departments grow and retain our client base. The Marketing department is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, effective product marketing strategies, and attending client and trade-show events. The Marketing team is also responsible for promoting the PitchBook brand and managing internal communications.
\nThe PitchBook Marketing Operations team is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Marketing Automation Specialist to assist in the management of a sustainable martech architecture that supports our overall marketing goals. This role calls for an individual who will develop, build, and maintain programs and processes aimed at creating scalable operational excellence. The Marketing Automation Specialist must be detailed-oriented with demonstrated experience in marketing automation (Marketo), CRM management (preferably Salesforce.com), and project management. This role will work closely with various teams across PitchBook to ensure the creation and execution of marketing campaigns with maximum success.
\nThis person will support our internal tools/products that are responsible for prospect movement through our Sales and Marketing funnel focused on lead routing, field mapping, pipeline health, and system integrations.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
\n\nIdentify opportunities and implement projects that will help improve campaign performance and scale the department efficiently \nPartner with other marketing teams to provide operational (campaign setup and execution) support \nPartner with cross-functional teams to automate processes and assess opportunities for improving data and system integrations \nSupport the evaluation and implementation of new marketing technology \nSupport our account based marketing efforts, bringing together the tools and data to assist account selection, contact identification, and performance evaluation \nField custom requests and capabilities questions \nInvestigate issues and technical problems with Marketo or other internal tools \nProactively monitor marketing funnel and campaign metrics (conversion rates, campaign attribution, email performance) and produce actionable insights \nCreate documentation and training for marketing operations processes and systems\nSupport the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors\nParticipate in various company initiatives and projects as requested\n\n\n
Skills and Qualifications:
\n\n2+ years working experience with Marketo \n2+ years working experience with a CRM (strong preference for Salesforce.com) \nExperience with troubleshooting system, process, and data issues \nDetail-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills \nExcellent project management, time management, and attention to detail \nExperience with lead routing tool a plus (e.g. LeanData, Openprise) \nUnderstanding of B2B funnels, sales pipelines, and how the mechanisms are implemented to control proper lead flow \nAbility to prioritize and manage various projects based on changing business needs \nExperience building emails, nurture campaigns, and marketing automation workflows \nDemonstrated ability to synthesize data, summarize issues, and think creatively\n\n\n

Compensation
\n\nAnnual base salary: $85,000-$95,000\nTarget annual bonus percentage: 7.5%\n\n\n
*Starting pay will be based on several factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be different ranges for candidates by location.

Working Conditions:
\nWe believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it’s helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 3+ days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.
\nThe job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
