About the Team

You will be part of the Digital Marketing team responsible for developing strategies and optimizing William-Sonoma, Inc.'s digital spend across all 8 Brands and International efforts. WSI manages all large digital programs in-house, and this role is critical in ensuring the accurate and timely execution for the display channel and reporting across all digital programs.

 

About the Role 

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is looking for a Marketing BI (Business Intelligence) Analyst who is responsible for processing data, developing dashboards, and extracting actionable insights for the Digital Marketing teams. You will work closely with the Search, Social, Display, Affiliates, and CRM teams to build & optimize reports, & drive informed / actionable insights to help all teams optimize their campaigns. The ability to recognize and understand trends, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and solve complex problems within the digital marketing landscape are key to success within this role.

 

Responsibilities 

Collaborate with individual digital teams to understand reporting needs and translate strategic business questions into resource/data requirements. Design, create, and maintain reporting cards within Domo that will be viewed by all leadership, digital teams, and brand partners Write Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) and SQL jobs to build out desired outputs to visualize on. Build out any new connectors needed to bring in new reporting, connections varying from SFTP, API, Email, or custom connection Stay apprised of current and new functionality and/or metrics of digital platforms 

Criteria

BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent experience Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Conditional formatting); data blending tools such as Alteryx or domo a plus. Prior experience updating and creating reporting dashboards within a BI tool like Domo, Tableau, or Power BI. Knowledge of pixel technology such as HTML or JavaScript; familiarity with dynamic macro's a plus Well-organized, detail oriented and able to quickly react to changing priorities. Excellent analytical, technical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize and state detail to various levels of the organization. Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset. Experience writing SQL or other programming languages. This role requires being onsite in the San Francisco office Monday through Thursday and Friday as optional in the office 

Technical Competencies required:

Experience with SQL and ETL dataflows Working knowledge of visualization tools such as Tableau, Domo, Power BI, Dataroma, etc. Strong MS Excel skills and analytical ability Knowledge of site tagging using Google Tag Manager or Tealium

The expected starting pay range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annually. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
