Marketing & Communications Manager

Chubb is seeking a general marketing & communication strategist as the manager for our North America Financial Lines and Property divisions. This position is responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of critical projects, events, and campaigns for these divisions in alignment with strategic marketing and communications plans across all internal and external platforms. The role will also be responsible for designing, writing, crafting, and deploying engaging marketing B2B campaigns and promotional content across events, sales, and digital channels. This position will work closely with marketing/communications team members and key business stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

This position operates on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) in Philadelphia, PA and reports to the Vice President, Marketing & Communications for North America Financial Lines. Candidates invited to interview should be prepared to share a portfolio of past work to demonstrate relatable experience.

Responsibilities:

Managing the business’ day-to-day communications, marketing strategies and tactics, including agent/broker communications, marketing and sales campaigns.  Collateral development, thought leadership and internal employee communication in coordination with the Chubb North America Marketing Communications team.  Helping to drive marketing strategy and end-to-end omnichannel sales/marketing campaign management targeting distribution (agents and brokers) partners and accounts while ensuring assets are executed following all applicable marketing controls. Continuously measure, monitor, analyze and report on the business effectiveness of integrated campaigns, sharing results and learnings with internal stakeholders and making subsequent improvements accordingly. Ability to synthesize complex financial and insurance-related materials and to craft creative, persuasive content for distribution and field audiences.  Managing the development and distribution of invitation/registration systems supporting key events. Providing virtual and on-site support at events as needed.  Interface effectively, as needed, with outside advertising agencies and independent marketing communications contractors. Understanding of paid media strategies for B2B including LinkedIn to execute paid media campaigns. Interfacing effectively, as needed, with outside advertising agencies and independent marketing communications contractors. Meet with Chubb Centers of Excellence support teams (thought leadership, social media, digital channels, paid media, internal communication) and internal business teams to collaborate in building effective go-to-market campaigns. Managing execution of email marketing initiatives through Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including the development of email campaigns for use with external promotions, events, newsletters and internal communications. Writing and editing marketing messaging and promotional content across digital channels to support critical tactics and campaign deliverables, including e-newsletters, webpages, videos and social media content. Participating in ongoing social media engagement and activities, including reviewing and recommending tactics, contributing to strategy and drafting copy for dissemination via Chubb’s social media channels as appropriate. Upholding exceptional standards for quality production and service, remaining accountable for meeting deadlines, and keeping stakeholders informed on the progress of projects. Bachelor’s Degree required – Marketing or Communications major preferred 7+ years of experience in a marketing or communication role required A solid commercial insurance or financial services foundation is preferred but not required. B2B marketing and advertising agency experience preferredStrong written and verbal communication skills, ability to collaboratively work and help drive towards key dates and deliverables. Exceptional writing and editing abilities, including spelling and grammar, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy Strong project management and organizational skills with an aptitude for managing simultaneous projects in a deadline-driven work environment Skilled in working with communications software, general software, and platforms, including various email packages (such as SFMC), MS Office, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Word, digital marketing and social media applications, video, and the like a plus.Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills; takes initiative and effectively collaborates with colleagues from adjacent teams as needed to achieve shared goalsStrong influencing and collaboration skills A proactive and solutions-driven strategic thinkerAbility to travel – 10%
