The Marketing Communications Manager is a key member of the MCS Gas Marketing team responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing communications campaigns that effectively communicate Sensus's value proposition to target audiences. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong communication, project management, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns across various channels and creating content.
**Responsibilities:**
+ **Develop and Execute Integrated Marketing Communications Campaigns:**
+ Plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels (including email, social media, paid advertising, SEO/SEM), public relations, and traditional media.
+ Ensure campaigns align with overall marketing and business objectives.
+ Track and analyze campaign performance, identify key metrics, and optimize based on results.
+ **Lead Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Initiatives:**
+ Develop and execute targeted ABM campaigns to engage and convert key accounts.
+ Leverage data and insights to personalize campaigns and maximize ROI.
+ Collaborate with sales teams to align ABM efforts with sales strategies.
+ **Sensus Branding & Digital Presence:**
+ Oversee the maintenance of gas content on the Sensus website, ensuring the information is accurate and reflects the current messaging campaigns.
+ Manage SEO/SEM strategies to improve website visibility and drive organic traffic.
+ Coordinate branding efforts across all Sensus verticals, ensuring consistent messaging and brand experience.
+ **Event Management:**
+ Develop and execute the overall event strategy, including prioritization of key industry events.
+ Project manage Tier 1 events, including budget management, vendor selection, logistics, and on-site execution.
+ Provide support for Tier 2 and Tier 3 events, including logistics and materials.
+ Manage abstract submissions and deck preparation for speaker opportunities at industry conferences.
+ **Media Relations:**
+ Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets.
+ Develop and execute media relations plans to generate positive press coverage.
+ Monitor media coverage and analyze media sentiment.
+ **Content Creation:**
+ Oversee the creation and distribution of high-quality marketing content, including website copy, blog posts, case studies, white papers, and presentations.
+ Support gas thought leadership initiatives, such as the Hydrogen Resource Center
+ **Stay Current:**
+ Stay abreast of the latest marketing trends, technologies, and best practices.
+ Continuously analyze and improve marketing programs based on industry best practices and competitive intelligence.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
+ 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of success in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
+ Experience in Account-Based Marketing (ABM) is highly preferred.
+ Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
+ Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
+ Experience with SEO/SEM and website management.
+ Experience with social media marketing and advertising.
+ Experience in public relations and media relations is a plus.
+ Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Salary range:
$93,900.00 - $169,000.00
