Marketing Consultant - Leadership Institute
**Job Description:** The Marketing Consultant leads marketing and communication efforts for the Intermountain Leadership Institute, focusing on growth initiatives, development and execution of B2B marketing and outreach, partner relations, participant recruitment, alumni engagement, and sponsorships, while managing key messaging, brand experience, and digital assets to support the Institute’s mission of "Developing Trusted Leaders™" in alignment with lntermountain Health's mission of Helping People Live the Healthiest Lives Possible®. This position is hybrid-some onsite time will be required. Location of site: Kem Gardner, Transformation Center, Murray Utah **Job Essential Functions** + **Design and Implement Marketing Strategies:** Develop comprehensive marketing plans, B2B initiatives, public relations, and digital strategies to promote the Institute's programs and ensure its visibility and success. + **Develop Strategic Partnerships and Relationships:** Cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with nonprofit and academic health systems, alumni, institutional partners, donors, faculty, and Intermountain marketing professionals to advance the Institute’s mission and growth. + **Engagement and Outreach:** Implement year-round communication plans to inform and engage supporters, partners, and target audiences in collaboration with Operations Director. + **Support Program Attendance and Revenue:** Collaborate with the Operations Director to meet attendance goals for Leadership Institute events and identify opportunities to generate revenue through partnerships and sponsorships. + **Leverage Research and Leadership Trends:** Conduct audience research and stay informed on leadership trends and best practices to tailor programs to the needs of healthcare leaders and organizations. + **Support Program Attendance and Revenue:** Collaborate with the Operations Director to meet attendance goals for Leadership Institute events and identify opportunities to generate revenue through partnerships and sponsorships. + **Drive Engagement and Program Participation:** Collaborate to achieve attendance goals for Leadership Institute events, implement year-round communication plans, and identify revenue-generating opportunities through partnerships and sponsorships. + **Content Creation and Oversight:** Produce and manage communication materials, including social media, email campaigns, websites, and advertisements, ensuring consistency with the Institute's brand and mission. **Skills** + Marketing Strategies and Communications Expertise. + Strategic Partnership Building Expertise. + Marketing Operations. + Research and Analytical Skills. + Excellent Written and Verbal Communication. + Interpersonal Skills. + High-level Organizational and Time Management Skills. + Adaptability and Problem-Solving + Accountability and Self-Starter + Team Player and Collaborative mindset. **Minimum Qualifications** + Prior marketing and communications experience, including demonstrated experience with the design and implementation of marketing strategies. This may include development of comprehensive marketing plans, B2B initiatives, public relations, and digital strategies to promote an organization’s programs. + Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders, which may include nonprofit and academic health systems, alumni, institutional partners, donors, faculty, and marketing professionals to advance an organization’s mission and growth. + Advanced skills in managing customer relationship management (CRM) and learning management system (LMS) tools + Demonstrated ability to drive program engagement and participation. + Capability to conduct audience research and analyze data to guide program development and marketing strategies. Ability to identify target markets that align with the Institute’s mission and values. + Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey messages clearly and engage diverse audiences. Strong storytelling and brand messaging skills to effectively communicate the Institute’s mission and values. + Demonstrated ability to build trust, collaborate, and foster strong professional relationships. + Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects efficiently. + Demonstrates flexibility and creativity in adapting to changing circumstances and solving complex challenges. + Demonstrated ability to take initiative, maintain personal accountability, and consistently drive results independently. + Ability to travel as necessary. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Master's Degree preferably in Marketing or equivalent with at least 8 years of progressive experience. + Preferred experience in B2B marketing. + Preferred knowledge in nonprofit marketing. As a practical matter, there is very little difference between nonprofit marketing and for-profit marketing. It all boils down to identifying target audiences, understanding their needs and wants, and addressing those with the appropriate tools. + Knowledge of lntermountain Health and the lntermountain Leadership Institute. **Physical Requirements** + Ongoing need to see and read information on labels, documents, computer monitors, and other resources to assess customer needs and ensure accuracy in tasks. + Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, and visitors, requiring clear verbal communication and the ability to hear and understand spoken information promptly and accurately. + Frequent use of hands and fingers for precise manipulation of supplies, equipment, and computer tasks, including typing and accessing information. + Ability to sit, stand, and move between workspaces for extended periods during meetings, events, or while managing program logistics. + For roles requiring driving, the ability to operate a vehicle safely, including reading signs, signals, and navigating traffic conditions. **Physical Requirements:** **Location:** Transformation Center **Work City:** Murray **Work State:** Utah **Scheduled Weekly Hours:** 40 The hourly range for this position is listed below.
