**Marketing Content Specialist**
Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Marketing Content Specialist in the Global Marketing, Service & Technology organization located in Buenos Aires/Manilla, closing March 31, 2025. This position reports to the Content Lead Specialist for North America within the Global Marketing, Service and Technology (GMST) Marketing Execution team.
The Content Specialist leads content development for projects and initiatives across multiple B2B and B2C channels, ensuring content aligns with the “sector brief”, brand identity standards and campaign objectives. The role involves collaboration internally with Sector, Creative, Media and Marketing Delivery peers. This role is accountable to work with external content agencies to create quality content that delivers differentiated outcomes.
**Responsibilities for this position may include:**
+ Coordinate the design of promotional material/content, distributing it through various channels (in partnership with Marketing Delivery Team).
+ Engage key stakeholders to select optimal content mix and ensure quality content is delivered against brief, while directing and holding third party agencies accountable for efficient and effective content.
+ Collaborate with the Marketing Team to plan and implement content calendars for a given business sector.
+ Interface with Legal and Brand teams to seek approval as needed.
+ Direct, edit, proofread engaging content for online and offline execution across various channels and platform (social, digital, owned, earned, and paid)
+ Proactively audits and optimize existing creative through development of additional assets.
+ Work closely with Delivery Team to optimize content distribution to online channels.
+ Develop an editorial calendar and ensure the content team is on board.
+ Stay up to date with industry developments and generate innovative ideas to continuously improve content effectiveness.
+ Actively engages stakeholders to determine optimal content mix relative to marketing objectives.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or a related field.
+ 5+ experience in a content marketing role
+ Strong portfolio highlighting successful marketing campaigns and creative projects.
+ Proven collaboration skills with marketing and agency design teams to plan and develop content.
+ Demonstrated ability to work multiple parallel projects through excellent organizational and time-management skills.
+ Strong stakeholder management, agency management, and communication skills
+ Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
**Desired/Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Copywriting experience
+ Hands-on content product and development (and relevant systems)
+ Spanish Language fluency
+ Relevant experience in Energy or adjacent industries (inclusive of translation abilities)
+ Fuels, Lubricants or adjacent industry experience
