We are currently seeking a Marketing Content Writer to join our Marketing team at our headquarters in Philadelphia, PA. 

Summary:

Assists in the development of communications to support the firm’s business initiatives and brand messaging. Researches, writes and edits articles for the firm’s internal publications and for external trade publications and business journals. Writes copy for project descriptions, brochures, marketing materials and thought-leadership.

Role & Responsibilities:

Researches and develops salient articles that tie corporate strengths to current events and trends Writes and pitches articles and press releases to news, trade and business publications “Ghost-writes” thought leadership articles for top executives and leadership, and pitches articles to industry publications as appropriate Writes video and audio scripts for promotional videos and audio clips, presentations, podcasts, and webinars Identifies, prepares and coordinates press releases Writes and edits copy for brochures, advertisements, advertorials, website content, targeted social media campaigns and other marketing materials Writes and edits sensitive and confidential internal communications Develops marketing plans for targeted social media campaigns Prepares new project, people and company-related announcements Coordinates and writes project descriptions and professional biographies for internal and external use Develops and supervises maintenance of computer database of media contacts. Develops and maintains relationships with media and off-site production representatives. Contracts and serves as liaison with outside consultants, copy writers, and advertising agencies.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in journalism, communications, or related discipline At least seven years of experience performing journalistic and press relations duties for a service firm. AEC Industry experience is required.
