**What would I be doing?** The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing all aspects of promotions and events. **Responsibilities** + Assists in the set up and execution of marketing events and promotions. + Staffs event registration, gift distribution, entry activation stations and drawing ticket areas. + Effectively explains the rules of a promotion or event to guests by clearly communicating the processes in which a guest must follow to claim a prize, attend an event, or be aware a gift. + Conducts manual and electronic drawings. + Greets, socializes and becomes familiar with Belterra's guests to make them feel welcome. + Understands the important and has the ability to explain documentation in a manner in which a guest can complete the required paperwork to be aware a prize or actively participate in a promotion, event, drawing, or any other marketing initiative. + Maintains the guest database by updating records to ensure guest information is correct. + Issues cash and comp concert tickets and VIP credentials. + Effectively explains complimentary structure and how to qualify for different levels of complimentary offers. + Helps with maintenance and inventory control of promotional merchandise. + Distributes promotional coupons and gifts. **What are we looking for?** + Effective written and verbal communication skills. + General knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office programs required. + Prior computer experience helpful. + Sales or marketing background helpful. + Public speaking skills required. + **Must be at least 21 years of age.** This knowledge and these skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent and two months of on-the-job training, or through related work experience. **What would it be like to work at this property?** **Belterra®** is a classic but revolutionary casino resort situated on the scenic Ohio River near the Markland Dam in Switzerland County, Indiana.
