Overview Join our team as a Marketing Coordinator and help bring our multifamily communities to life through creative and effective marketing strategies. In this role, you’ll support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to attract residents and enhance our brand presence. You’ll collaborate closely with our team to maintain branding consistency, assist with digital marketing efforts, and contribute to occupancy goals across our portfolio. This role supports the marketing efforts for Gates Hudson’s growing 27,000-unit Mid-Atlantic multifamily real estate portfolio, including lease-up, stabilized, value-add, and affordable apartment communities in the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia regions. Responsibilities Social Media Management: Establish and oversee social media accounts for multifamily properties, ensuring compliance with company best practices by collaborating with third-party vendors. Online Reputation and Survey Oversight: Manage online reputation programs and property surveys, coordinating with site teams and vendors to ensure timely and effective responses to reviews. Website and ILS Audits: Regularly review property websites and Internet Listing Services (ILS) to maintain accurate, up-to-date content and optimize advertising effectiveness. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research and compile accurate surveys to support both new and existing properties. New Property Marketing Onboarding: Coordinate marketing onboarding for new properties, including ordering acquisition kits, collecting digital assets, transferring login credentials, and managing domain settings. Vendor Coordination: Partner with third-party vendors to manage the company’s online storefront for apparel, promotional products, and printed materials. Google Business Profile Management: To enhance local online visibility, create and maintain Google Business Profiles for multifamily properties. Email Campaigns: Design and deploy email blasts for both individual properties and corporate communications. Reporting: Generate and maintain recurring marketing and leasing performance reports for multifamily properties. Website Optimization: Update website content to align with brand standards, highlighting key marketing attributes of each property. Promotion and Concession Management: Oversee specials and concessions across property websites and ILS platforms, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Advertising and Design Support: Assist in designing advertising and marketing materials as needed to support property and corporate initiatives. Billing Administration: Review and process marketing-related invoices accurately and promptly. Administrative Tasks: Complete additional administrative duties as assigned. Presentation Development: Support the preparation of client presentations for both current and prospective business opportunities. Qualifications Education: Minimum Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business, real estate, or a related field is desirable Experience: Industry Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in the multifamily real estate industry or a related field Technical Proficiency: Basic familiarity with CRM platforms, content management systems, Yardi, and Google Analytics Job Specific Qualifications: Exceptional Communication Skills: Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication abilities to convey ideas and collaborate with team members effectively. Understanding of Leasing and Resident Relations: Familiar with leasing processes and strategies for resident acquisition and retention to support property success. Marketing Knowledge: Possesses a foundational understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics relevant to the multifamily real estate industry. Detail-Oriented Reporting: Maintains high accuracy and attention to detail when preparing and analyzing marketing reports. Collaborative Project Management: Works effectively with internal teams and departments to manage projects, meet deadlines, and ensure seamless execution. Client Satisfaction Focus: Skilled in managing expectations and delivering marketing services that align with the needs of both internal stakeholders and external clients. Design Sensibility: Exhibits a keen eye for design when creating marketing materials such as flyers, email campaigns, and presentations.
