**What You'll Do**
The Center for Academic Innovation (CAI) at the University of Michigan is looking for a qualified Marketing CRM Specialist Senior to help guide the implementation of a Salesforce instance at CAI, and subsequently lead the design of marketing campaigns within Salesforce. The Marketing CRM Specialist Senior will work in collaboration with marketing specialists and developers within CAI, and with technical roles within the university's Salesforce Center for Excellence. Main responsibilities will include building email campaigns, personalizing customer journeys, segmenting audiences, and analyzing campaign effectiveness.
Note: CAI is in the initial stages of work with a third-party Salesforce implementation partner. Depending on the timing of the hire, we anticipate that you will initially contribute to the successful setup of Salesforce for our organization.

**About the Marketing and Market Strategy Team**
TheMarketing and Market Strategy (https://ai.umich.edu/who-are-we/our-team/#operations) team works with all the center's teams to help enhance the center's awareness and reputation and lead enrollments and adoptions of its learning opportunities and educational technology tools.
**Responsibilities***
**Salesforce Implementation and Administration**
+ Help guide the Salesforce implementation process; develop requirements with partners, suggesting best practices, and mapping data and workflow information.
+ Be a contact with a third-party vendor and university colleagues during implementation to ensure needs are met on both sides to build a custom solution for CAI.
+ Document workflow processes and collaborate with users to identify, define, and document process improvement options and alternatives.
+ Work in partnership with all partners to ensure data flows are working for implementation and collaborate with colleagues to review data flows in and out of Salesforce, including lead forms and event management tool data.
+ Be a subject matter expert and help troubleshoot the suite of Salesforce tools for the marketing team, including leading training.
+ Collect information about potential system enhancement needs.
+ Ensure adherence to university policies, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, FERPA), and Salesforce best practices for managing member data.
**Digital Marketing**
+ Define audience segments in Data Cloud to activate in Marketing Cloud and in connected advertising platforms.
+ Develop marketing campaigns using Salesforce Data, Marketing, and Education Clouds.
+ Configure and customize marketing automations within Marketing Cloud.
+ Manage custom email subscription center.
+ Maintain email templates.
+ Analyze campaign performance, providing insights to bring marketing strategy optimization.
+ Collaborate with teams to ensure marketing efforts are well-integrated with team goals.
+ Maintain knowledge of best practices in Salesforce, multi-channel digital marketing in Marketing Cloud, and other areas.

**Salary Information**
The general salary range for this position is $82,000 - $88,000. You can expect to be paid a great compensation package. Factors used to determine salary include education level and experience for the position and internal equity within the unit. You are encouraged to discuss salary questions to honor agreement and transparency throughout the recruiting process.
**Additional Information**
Please Note: This is a 5 year term limited position with the possibility of renewal depending on funding. The mode of work for this position is Hybrid. The work requirements for this position allow both onsite and offsite work and you will have an expected regular and recurring onsite presence. On occasion, you may be required and must be available to work onsite more frequently if necessitated by our center's policy and domain leadership or by your job requirements. Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
