The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for supporting the omnichannel & marketing department in regard to analytics, reporting, and customer segmentation. Primary responsibilities will include reporting setup, creating ad hoc reports, and maintenance of reoccurring reports to create actionable insights for various marketing teams.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Compile, organize, and reconcile data for a variety of teams and areas of focus including: digital marketing, retail, loyalty, user experience, and other omnichannel initiatives.
Translate raw data and marketing results into easy to understand findings including preparation of executive summaries and business reviews.
Collaborate and partner with teams from multiple departments for reporting, metrics, and recommendations (Marketing, IT, Pricing, Merchandise, Professional Sales, Accounting, etc.).
Develop reporting dashboards and tools for digital marketing and e-commerce site performance on a daily, weekly, quarterly, and annual basis, or as needed by the business.
Partner with business stakeholders to analyze marketing campaigns for effectiveness and develop data informed actions that lead to improvements in campaign sales and other KPI's.
Provide ongoing analysis and reporting of sales and margin drivers, identifying root causes, and opportunities to drive incremental growth.
Assist in setting up, tracking, and reporting on a/b marketing test models. Measure, optimize and report outcomes of marketing tests.
Create Ad-hoc reporting and support of new report development as needed.
Build and evaluate data models to test and validate various hypotheses and marketing campaigns.
Assist with special department projects at the direction of the Supervisors, Managers, Directors, or Vice President.
SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights.

Desired:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, marketing research, business or equivalent.
1-3 years of direct and hands-on reporting experience (Google Analytics, Applied Predictive Technologies (APT), MicroStrategy, Domo, Data Studio, Tableau, Adobe, etc.)
Experience working with CRM platforms for customer journey reporting across channels.
Understanding of Python, SQL, or related data analysis tools.
Knowledge of internal O’Reilly processes.
Automotive knowledge.
