Marketing Data Analytics Intern

The internship program is scheduled to take place from May to August. OVERVIEW Support the Insightz & Analytics team to fulfill requests that generate key insights using reports, dashboards, and/or deep-dive analytics to help category managers and Marketing leaders maintain our inside sales business. RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned) 1. Use SQL to mine and synthesize data and produce ad-hoc sales reports or dashboards to help support Marketing category decision-making. 2. Prepare forecasting analysis to predict future trends. 3. Learn how to determine best-fit analytics methodologies for different required analysis tasks. 4. Analyze promotional activity using baseline comparison methods, such as swing and impact analyses. 5. Help support our Pricing team with executing price changes and post analysis for inside sales categories, such as MTO or Cooler beverages. QUALIFICATIONS (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered) Education • Student currently enrolled in Undergraduate program with coursework in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Statistics or related field preferred. Experience • Candidates with requirements to fulfill an internship prior to graduation preferred • Prior experience in data analysis preferred • Working knowledge of SQL or similar coding language preferred • Previous exposure to Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or other BI tool preferred Licenses/Certifications • None required Tools & Equipment • General Office Equipment ACCOMMODATIONS Sheetz is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
